In this industry, it comes down to experience — being able to use the negative scenarios that you've seen to help your clients avoid them. For much of my career, my role was handling claims. I dealt with clients during their losses, tragedies and financial uncertainties. I understand how risk management affects all parties — from the insurer to the insured. I understand what happens when a client needs to call upon their insurance program and how an insurer should respond.
When it comes to providing client service, my job is to be an advocate and address all insurance needs, whether it involves purchasing, transferring or customizing solutions that benefit their organization. My clients know that with my breadth of knowledge and attention to detail, they can trust that their exposure to risk can be left in my hands while they manage the rest of their business.
