I believe that to succeed in this industry, a broker has to go beyond the surface and look to the core of underlying risk management exposures. That's the only way to truly work in the best interest of the client.
Prior to joining Hylant, I took on a client that had unique issues stemming from their particular exposures. Before evaluating the client's coverage or policy, I took the time to research the company its mode of operation, distinctive characteristics and the issues causing stress and worry within the organization. When it was time to meet with the client, I was prepared to offer solutions that they had never considered. By looking beyond standard, off-the-shelf approaches, I was able to give the company exactly what they needed.
Often in this industry, practitioners are either good at seeing the big picture or are detail-oriented I possess both qualities. And I use these strengths to learn everything I can about my clients, making sure that each client feels like my only client.
My clients know that my curiosity and resolve to dig deep makes me a better Client Service Manager. My role goes far beyond issuing certificates of insurance I am a researcher, a problem solver and a partner.
