Cynthia Hine Joins Hylant Group
NASHVILLE, Tennessee - August, 2007 - Cynthia Hine has joined Hylant Group as Vice President in its newly established Nashville office. Ms. Hine, a licensed attorney and nurse practitioner, brings a strong legal background and extensive healthcare expertise to the insurance brokerage firm. Ms. Hine has responsibility for business development, strategic planning, and coordination of client service with a defined focus on the healthcare industry and medical service provider needs. She is a member of the Large Account Practice and the Medical Risk Practice within the Hylant organization.

Ms. Hine has been a practicing attorney specializing in health care operations, insurance, and claims negotiations. Other positions held by Ms. Hine have included serving as Senior Consultant for The Deragon Group, Risk Manager for St. Thomas Hospital, Vice President and Consultant for Willis Corroon, Claims Attorney for The Daughters for Charity National Health System, and Provider Relations Coordinator for Sanus Healthcare.
Ms. Hine received her J. D. degree from Saint Louis University, M. H. A. from Saint Louis University, M. S. N. from Vanderbilt University, and B. S. N. from Texas Christian University. She is a Clinical Instructor for Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, and is currently serving as a content reviewer for the Professional Liability Underwriting Society’s educational course materials.
